Dr. Rama Akachuku 

Hello, I’m Dr. Rama Akachuku. I’m a General Practitioner with a calling deeply rooted in caring for women at every stage of life.

My journey in medicine has taken me from bustling hospitals to quiet rural clinics, from home visits to community care centres, and everywhere in between. Through it all, one thing remains constant: the honour of being invited into the intimate, sacred space of a woman’s health journey.

As a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP), and licensed with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), I’ve dedicated over a decade to serving women, whether they’re navigating adolescence, planning for pregnancy, managing fertility, or stepping into the tender transitions of perimenopause and menopause. My work includes surgical procedures, minor community-based surgeries, and services like LARC (Mirena, Copper coils, Implanon, Kyleena, Jaydess), cervical screening, hormonal care, sexual health, and more.

I founded Raelia Health with a simple, yet profound belief: every woman deserves to feel heard, seen, and truly cared for. Too often, I’ve witnessed the quiet confusion and worry that come with changes in the body, especially when answers are hard to find or feel impersonal. Raelia Health was created to be different: a warm, trusted space where women can find clarity, confidence, and compassionate care tailored to them.
